If you have kids you know the importance of keeping things simplified- especially when it comes to keeping track of their things. We loose things more frequently than I would like the admit. You know that one kid that can never find the other shoe, never brings home a water bottle and somehow we’ve lost half our sweatshirts? Yep, that’s my kids. With Spring sports fast approaching and Summer camp right around the corner I knew I needed to get better at labeling all their things. We have used a sharpie to label water bottles in the past but it never lasts long. Soon enough its smudged and illegible and well there goes another water bottle. Their website is full of different colors, patterns and options for customization (here). The boys and I sat down and went through all their choices and landed on this blue variety pack that can go on various items. They have multiples sizes in each pack so that nothing is left unlabeled. From the inside of sneakers, Towels, water bottles, lunch sacks, and bags we can label it all.

We decided to just add our last name so I could use the labels on all three of the boys’ items but you can also add in your phone number too. These labels are also water proof so if your kids go to camp like mine- there is no stressing that their label will fall off or smudge.

There are four different label applications you can choose from: Stick on, Iron on, write on or Water proof. All of those option are indeed water proof but the water proof labels are also ok for freezer items and are also microwave safe. The write on label you are able to write on yourself instead of having them pre printed and would be great for labeling food items in a pantry of fridge/freezer. They are heat safe too. All three of those options are washer/dryer safe with the iron on label being a permanent label. We went with the stick on labels since we often donate our used items to the local thrift store. To apply the Stick on labels I made sure my items were clean and fully dried the I pressed them on firmly and let it sit for 24 hours. Pretty simple and straight forward. The boys even helped label their items.

Being able to label all of our things the boys will be tugging around to sports and camps this Summer my mind is at ease knowing that these labels will help us keep track of all the things we usually loose. It makes them feel better too knowing if someone has the same water bottle, towel, sleeping back etc. as they do – they will know what one is theirs.
